We’re excited to welcome Jérémy Carlot, a new postdoctoral researcher, to the B-USEFUL team!
In his #MeetTheScientist video, Jérémy reflects on his past work to now examine how fisheries have evolved over the past 40 years in the Mediterranean.
As part of B-USEFUL, he is analyzing trawl survey data through the lens of the Metabolic Theory of Ecology to explore changes in nutrient cycling and ecosystem functioning. By combining historical data with ecological modeling, Jérémy aims to better understand how global change is impacting marine communities and nutrient dynamics to help us to face better global change in the coming years.
