Are you interested in Monitoring biodiversity?
Do you have insights in managing biodiversity targets?
Take part in the co-creation of biodiversity indices available at the spatial and temporal scales you need.
The project B-USEFUL aims to co-develop integrated indicators for biodiversity status at different ecological scales for monitoring and managing biodiversity targets, as laid out by the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework for 2050.
If you currently use biodiversity data to manage European seas, regularly seek advice on marine biodiversity, or you are part of a group which interacts regularly with marine biodiversity data for policy and management discussions, we need your help!
Minimum commitment, maximum returns. We are constituting an online forum where B-USEFUL will host activities to elicit ideas about indicators and receive feedback on them throughout the lifespan of the project. These activities are designed to minimize the time required and maximize the flexibility of your contributions to adapt to your schedule.
We will start in May 2023 with a series of engaging online dialogue which will be a few hours’ worth of questions and reflections that you can complete on your own time to help us frame the challenges you face.
What will you gain? Once you join, the online forum will be available to you to discuss biodiversity related issues with other members of the community and project partners, across regions, who like you face monitoring and management challenges.
Join us! Get in touch with David Lusseau (), coordinator of the co-creation activities for the project. We will walk you through the planned process including how we will ensure your data and rights are protected throughout the project.
