COISPA Highlights: MEDITS Data Now Open Access & Insights on Marine Pressures

Our partners at the COISPA Foundation have been actively contributing to key developments in marine biodiversity monitoring and research.

MEDITS Trawl Survey Data Now Open Access

The B-USEFUL team welcomes the initiative at the European level to make MEDITS trawl survey data publicly available. This milestone supports enhanced scientific cooperation and biodiversity assessments across the Mediterranean and beyond.

The “Data Catalogue” is also included in the Deliverable D2.2 – Report of available metadata and data gaps across case studies, available for download on our website.

COISPA at the MEDITS Coordination Group Meeting

Earlier in May, Walter Zupa (COISPA) represented the team at the MEDITS Coordination Group Meeting in Kavala, Greece. He presented ongoing research on how rising sea surface temperatures and fishing pressure may significantly reshape marine communities — topics central to B-USEFUL’s goals

Stay tuned for more updates and upcoming congresses where B-USEFUL research will be featured!
