B-USEFUL showcases project tools and results at ICES ASC 2026

From 15–18 September 2026, the B-USEFUL project joined the ICES Annual Science Conference (ASC) 2026 in Brest, France, bringing together members of the marine science community to exchange knowledge and discuss advances in marine research.

As part of the conference, B-USEFUL organised an end-user session showcasing key outputs developed throughout the project. The session provided an opportunity to present and discuss B-USEFUL tools and results with potential end users and gather perspectives on their application beyond the project.

Among the outputs presented was the online Decision Support Tool (DST) developed by ICES, alongside other key results from B-USEFUL. The session highlighted how the project’s scientific outputs can be translated into practical resources supporting marine biodiversity assessment and decision-making.

The event also provided an opportunity for exchange between B-USEFUL partners and the wider marine science community as the project approaches its conclusion.
